Coronation Street's Leanne Battersby star stuns fans as she reunites with villain

Coronation Street star Jane Danson has surprised fans by reuniting with her villainous co-star. The actress was recently seen sharing her last scenes with Emrhys Cooper.

As fans of the ITV soap know, Jane's long-running character Leanne Battersby was seen in court last month as Rowan Cunliffe, played by Emrhys, was finally questioned over his involvement with The Institute that saw the group's mentor brainwash Leanne and got Amy Barlow to part with her £40,000 inheritence.

In the last scenes of the long-running storyline, which started when Emrhys made his cobbles debut as Rown in March, after Amy and Nick had taken to the stand, it was Leanne's turn and after she was harshly quizzed by the defence barrister, Rowan smirked, provoking Leanne into a furious rant about how he had ruined her life. Later, Leanne, Nick, Amy and Toyah got news of the court's verdict and were later celebrating the update in the Rovers Return after Rowan had been found guilty, and Amy was thought to be getting some of her money back.
