Sheridan Smith has reportedly scrapped her plans to release her autobiography after rethinking her decision to release a ‘tell-all book’.The stage and screen star, who recently returned to Gavin and Stacey, announced in 2021 that she was writing a book about her life.
At the time, Sheridan teased that it would delve into 'my darkest moments' and confirmed 'a lot of truths will come out'. Sheridan had been working with a ghostwriter, but reports suggest it has been shelved indefinitely.
A source told The Sun: “Sheridan has had a busy few years and didn't have time to put the finishing touches to the book. The source continued: “Her mindset is different now and she doesn't want this version to come out.
She felt unsure whether she wants to put all of her life on pages for everyone to read.” OK! has contacted Sheridan's representatives for comment. The book was expected to reveal all sorts of details about her battles with alcohol, mental health struggles, and relationships, including those with actor James Corden and her ex-partner Jamie Horn, the father of her four-year-old son, Billy.
