Coronation Street viewers are convinced that Geoff Metcalfe (Ian Bartholomew) is behind Nicky Wheatley's (Kimberley Hart-Simpson) violent attack.

Corrie fans will know that Geoff cheated on wife Yasmeen Nazir (Shelley King) with escorts during their turbulent marriage, and Nicky herself is a sex worker.During the most recent visit to Weatherfield, Nicky's love interest Daniel Osbourne (Rob Mallard) was horrified to find her bleeding in the street after being attacked.Nicky stepped out of a taxi screaming and crying in pain after fleeing a hotel where she had been with a client.Nicky told Daniel that she was assaulted by a punter after she gave their money back and refused to have sex with them.Later in the episode, Daniel and Adam chatted.
