Coronation Street 's Yasmeen Nazir (Shelley King) has been leaving viewers broken-hearted in recent months, as she deals with an abusive relationship.

So far, her granddaughter Alya Nazir (Sair Khan) has been the only one making an effort to free Yasmeen from evil Geoff Metcalfe's (Ian Bartholomew) clutches.

Sadly, in last night's episode, Yasmeen left viewers open-mouthed when she hit out at Alya in the cruellest of ways. When the waitress attempted to convince her grandmother to leave her marriage, Yasmeen made a dig at Alya's past relationships.

Her ex-boyfriend Josh Tucker (Ryan Clayton) was guilty of raping David Platt (Jack P Shepherd), in a crime that left the community shaken.
