Tommy has been mentioned and appeared on the ITV soap numerous times in recent years - having first graced our screens as the Weatherfield County footballer, who befriended Steve McDonald and Tim Metcalfe after hiring Michelle Connor as a wedding planner, in 2016.
He then made further sporadic appearances over the next few years and was last seen in 2021, when he retired from his footballing career. It was revealed that Tommy is now a painter and decorator after his burger restaurant closed down. @CallumPO6 wrote on X, formerly Twitter: "Feels weird seeing Tommy O back.
Hope he becomes an actual character." @ElaineWharton1 added: "THE Tommy Orpington now making a living as a painter & decorator!
