The ITV soap has been working with the RSPCA to highlight the issue of illicit puppy breeding. Viewers have seen dog-loved Evelyn Plummer determined to get Terry Fensley caught for running his own puppy farm but it has led to her getting into trouble with the police instead.
It started back in December when she saw a man mistreating his dog before turning on her when she confronted him. Evelyn has since been like a dog with a bone and has enlisted the help of her daughter Cassie are determined to get to the bottom of what Terry is up to.
During Wednesday night's (January 10) trip to the cobbles, viewers saw Evelyn trawling through adverts for puppies when she spotted something familiar.
