manchestereveningnews.co.ukCoronation Street star Daniel Brocklebank has been praised by fans after sharing a plea. The actor took to social media to show how he was spending a laidback Saturday after no doubt another busy week in front of the camera on the cobbles.
Daniel, who plays Billy Mayhew in the ITV soap, is currently facing one of his toughest storylines to date as his character deals with facing the early loss of his husband Paul Foreman, played by Peter Ash, to Motor Neurone Disease (MND).
In recent emotional scenes, Billy discovered that Paul had acquired drugs from former drug addict Abi Webster that he wants to use when he decides to end his own life as his MND symptoms progress and worsen.
The Archdeacon was heartbroken and initially against the idea before a tearful discussion ensued and he eventually agreed to help his husband when the time comes.
