Coronation Street fans have been left fearing for Paul Foreman after his latest money-making attempt was foiled by his friend Dee-Dee Bailey.
Viewers of the ITV soap have watched the builder struggling after devastatingly learning that he has Motor Neurone Disease. It was initially thought that Paul's problems with his hand were due to being knocked down by Carla Connor in the Underworld van after she was unknowingly drugged by Stephen Reid with LSD.
However, it was revealed in heartbreaking scenes last month that Paul has the fatal, rapidly progressing disease that affects the brain and spinal cord and may just have three years to live.
Paul has chosen not to tell his family or partner Billy Mayhew and has instead confided in Dee-Dee. But as well as his health, Paul, played by Peter Ash, is worried about his mounting money woes after agreeing to help his sister Gemma Winter pay for her wedding and taking out a loan.
