Coronation Street fans were left delighted on Monday as they tuned into the show to see a legend return to the cobbles. Linda Hancock, played by actress Jacqueline Leonard, 57, is the nana of Chesney's little boy Joseph Brown and Chesney's ex mother-in-law.
She returned to the famous street during Monday night's episode in a bid to help Chesney and his fiancée Gemma Winter get ready for their wedding.
However, her return did not go down well with the residents of Weatherfield and in particular Gemma's mum Bernie Winter. As Linda got stuck into wedding planning, she asked the soon-to-be husband and wife what the guests can expect from the wedding buffet.
She was left unimpressed as Gemma told her that the pair have asked a local bakery who do pies and pastries to cater for the big day.
