The countdown is on as Coronation Street favourites Chesney Brown and Gemma Winter tie the knot. There will be four very special guests attending the Weatherfield ceremony - their four children - Aled, Bryn, Lilo and Carys - who are quadruplets.
The Winter-Brown kids have become a fixture on the cobbles, but viewers have been left wondering if the siblings are really quadruplets in real life.
Away from the screen, the lookalike actors are not quadruplets, but rather a mix of twins and triplets who have been used interchangeably in the roles over the years.
Prosthetic babies were initially used to portray the Winter-Brown siblings due to their premature births. From December 2019 to June 2020, the quads were all played by twins Charlotte & James Holt and triplets Arthur, Lily & Lucy Taylor. The characters were then absent until January 2022 due to restrictions imposed on child actors in light of the Covid-19 pandemic.
