Coronation Street fans have been left 'begging' show bosses to bring two characters closer together which could end up mimicking real life for the pair.

Desperate to buy his mum Gail's house as she prepared to leave the street, he took the cash that was offered to his sister Sarah Platt by Harvey's brother Damon Hay after Bethany's serious health scare.

Shona was quick to blame Harvey for the inferno that engulfed the Platts' beloved family home as the family were supposed to be gathering at the Bistro for Sarah's birthday celebrations.
