Corey Feldman had a welcome reunion with his longtime friend — and one-time girlfriend — Drew Barrymore on her self-titled talk show on Wednesday.The 51-year-old Goonies star was delighted to reminisce about the first time he and the 47-year-old actress-turned-talk show host met, as well as the brief time that they dated a few years later.Drew was nearly speechless during her introduction when she revealed that the two hadn't seen each other in person in 25 years.Corey went on to recall how they first met when he was around 12 or 13 years old, while Drew would have been 10 or 11, noting that it was Steven Spielberg who put the two in touch.

Reunited and it feels so good: Corey Feldman, 51, beamed as he sat down on The Drew Barrymore Show with his longtime friend to reminisce about first meeting and later dating The iconic filmmaker had a special connection to both stars, as he wrote the story for and produced Feldman's breakthrough film The Goonies, while he is Drew's Godfather and directed her breakout film E.T.

in 1982.'What happened was, I got a call one day. My grandmother says, "We got a call from Steven [Spielberg]'s office, and the little girl from E.T.

wants to meet you because she's got a crush on you,' Feldman recalled.'Oh yeah, I did, the biggest,' Drew replied, adding, 'But everyone did!' Afterward, her mother Jaid Barrymore set the two up on a 'play date.''It was so cute.
