A young Barrhead man was found by police sleeping in his car alongside open cans of booze after a night at his local bowling club.
Rhys Watson was three times the legal drink-drive limit when cops found him “slumped” in his car in the wee hours of May 18.The 23-year-old was sleeping in his car and failed to wake up when cops chapped the window.
It wasn’t until officers opened the car door that boozed-up Watson woke up.When cops spoke to sozzled Watson, he was unsteady on his feet, reeking of booze and had slurred speech.There were also a number of open cans of alcohol in Watson’s car.
Procurator fiscal depute Ashleigh Pollock told Paisley Sheriff Court: “Around 5.40am, police were tasked to attend Victoria Road in Barrhead.
