Conor McGregor will not fight again in 2020 - but UFC president Dana White expects him to return next year. McGregor announced his third retirement in four years earlier this summer having grown frustrated at a lack of opportunities.

He missed out on a fight with Justin Gaethje who instead beat Tony Ferguson to set up a title shot against Khabib Nurmagomedov.
