Coldplay have revealed they came very close to cancelling their current Music Of the Spheres world tour after being hit with money issues and being forced to deal with a ‘big financial crisis’.The chart-topping band’s shows have been very well-received as they tour the globe as eco-consciously as they can, delighting with guests as random as Alan Partridge and as heart-warming as teen fan and pianist Leo Hall and Ukrainian refugee Roman Panchenko. However, it very almost wasn’t to be.Reflecting on what it took to get to the stage for the opening concert in Costa Rica back in March, lead guitarist Jonny Buckland revealed: ‘We had quite a strange build-up to this tour.

We are so lucky that we can survive and sustain losses and that’s okay,’ he added to fan publication ColdplayXtra. The band recently shared a delightful video of one of the local sign language interpreters working on their tour, doing her best to truly ignite your bones as she signed along to Fix You at one of Coldplay’s Glasgow shows.‘We want our concerts to be accessible to everyone and for everyone to have the best possible experience,’.
