A recruitment drive which will create more than 2,000 jobs at Co-op Live, the £365m venue being built by Manchester City's Etihad Stadium, has been launched.
When it opens in April next year, the venue will be the UK's largest live entertainment arena. The new jobs available include stewards, fan safety and services, chefs, bar and restaurant staff, back of house food and beverage staff and hosts. These new jobs will make a difference to local communities, bringing well-paid jobs to our neighbourhood." More than 3,350 jobs have been created through the construction of the venue to date.
Co-op Live is a joint venture between Oak View Group and City Football Group and also counts Harry Styles as an investor. Other backers include Simon Moran's gigs promotor which has worked with acts including Take That, Spice Girls, Foo Fighters and Stormzy.
