Clifton Suspension Bridge: Suspect in bodies investigation named as further remains found in London flat

The suspect in the Clifton Suspension Bridge bodies investigation has been identified as 24 year old Colombian national Yostin Andres Mosquera, following the discovery of additional human remains in a London flat, according to police.Officers are still on the hunt for Mosquera, whose image was previously released.

The latest human remains were discovered during a search of a flat in Scotts Road, W12 on Friday, 12 July, and are currently being carefully removed.Further post-mortem examinations will be scheduled as soon as possible.At this preliminary stage, officers believe that these remains are linked to the human remains found in Bristol, and that there are still two male victims.

While officers think they know the identities of the two men, formal identification is yet to take place. Efforts continue to locate and inform their next of kin, reports the Mirror.

Both victims are believed to have been known to Mosquera and the Met is appealing for information on his whereabouts.Deputy Assistant Commissioner Andy Valentine stated: "This is a fast moving enquiry with detectives in London and Bristol actively pursuing a number of lines of enquiry.""Locating Yostin Andres Mosquera, however, is the priority and I appeal to anyone with information on his whereabouts to get in touch."The Met has confirmed that a 36 year old man arrested in connection with the investigation on 12 July at an address in Greenwich has since been released without charge.If you have any information that could help the police, particularly in locating the man identified in our appeal as Yostin Andres Mosquera, please call 101 and quote the Met Police reference 'CAD 306 12JUL'.For an immediate sighting, dial 999.
