Crossbow suspect Kyle Clifford 'left paralysed after inflicting wound on himself'

A man detained in connection with the crossbow murders of three women is said to have been left paralysed. Kyle Clifford, 26, has yet to be interrogated by police regarding the deaths of Carol Hunt and her daughters, Hannah, 28, and Louise, 25, at their residence in Bushey, Hertfordshire, who were relatives of BBC 5 Live's racing commentator John Hunt.

Following a manhunt that lasted several hours, Clifford was discovered unconscious in a cemetery in Enfield, London, and was immediately taken to hospital.

He is currently under arrest in the hospital, and reports suggest he has become paralysed due to a self-inflicted injury, reports the Mirror. As his injuries prevent questioning, Hertfordshire Police have not yet had the opportunity to interview him. A spokesperson for the force informed the Mirror: "A suspect remains under arrest and continues to receive treatment in hospital.
