CKY frontman Chad I Ginsburg has issued a short statement after punching punching Alien Ant Farm‘s Dryden Mitchell in the face while on tour together.Last weekend (November 9), Alien Ant Farm and CKY kicked off the UK leg of their joint tour, which was first announced back in April.

However, just hours before the opening date at Margate’s Dreamland, Alien Ant Farm’s Dryden Mitchell announced that CKY had been kicked off the tour.In a statement, Mitchell explained that Ginsburg had punched him in the face after he was confronted for “treating multiple crew members and opening band members like trash through the Europe shows and cause general drama around our camp”.

He went on to apologise to CKY’s UK fans, and said he was sad to see the other members of CKY have to leave the tour because of Ginsburgs’ actions.Yesterday (November 10), CKY’s Ginsburg took to Instagram with a brief statement that read: “UK CKY fans get your money back!!!

I had NO choice and GOOD reason for what happened. I will always defend myself. You know me much better than that! More info to come, apologies to the fans.” The post was captioned with hashtags that read: “onesidedbullshit”, “twosidestoeverystory” and “ifyouonlyknew”.The remaining Alien Ant Farm dates are set to go ahead as planned – you can see the full list of dates here and you can find any remaining tickets here. The tour is also one of the first to adopt the Music Venue Trust’s proposal to include a £1 donation from every ticket to support grassroots music venues.
