Children go on teddy bear hunts in West Lothian during coronavirus crisis

Children in West Lothian have been going on bear hunts to pass time during the coronavirus crisis.Households throughout the county have been leaving teddy bears perched at their window sills, alongside pictures of rainbows, to try and bring a little cheer to children’s daily walks during the covid-19 pandemic.The idea was started by local woman, Vicki Mainland from Howden, who created a Facebook page for people to post their pictures and already she has had almost 6,000 members join, with 32,000 interactions, since it was created on Thursday March 26.Vicki said: “I work at Pinewood School and our head teacher, Pam Greig, noticed a similar project in Australia and emailed our principal teacher, Gina Freeman, who did some further research
