Chelsea have reportedly stepped up their interest in Porto defender Alex Telles. The Blues are in the market for another left-back and Telles could be just the ticket.
One of either Marcos Alonso or Emerson Palmieri is expected to leave Stamford Bridge in the summer, meaning their will be space for a replacement.
Earlier this month, it was claimed that Telles had been identified as Frank Lampard’s top target after impressing for the Portuguese giants.
And now A Bola claim Chelsea are already in talks with Porto over a deal for Telles with a summer switch "inevitable". Telles has contributed eight goals and five assists from 23 outings in Portugal's top flight this season, despite him being a defender.
