Blues boss Frank Lampard has already spent heavily this summer, with the club forking out around £84m to sign Ajax playmaker Hakim Ziyech and RB Leipzig striker Timo Werner.
They have also been heavily linked with big money moves for Bayer Leverkusen star Kai Havertz and Leicester City left-back Ben Chilwell.
As a result, a number of players are expected to be sold and, according to a report from Italian publication Calciomercato, the Blues are willing to let Kante leave for 'the right offer'.
