The yobs attacked a Golf and BMW on New Mill Walk in Cheetham Hill on Good Friday (April 2). As they did, a gunman got out of the BMW and shots were fired.
The group of youths 'dispersed', before the two cars were driven away. No reports of injuries have been received by cops. Detectives say they believe the shooting was an 'isolated incident'.
Police were alerted at 6.10pm. A small car park off Alderford Parade was later cordoned off as forensic officers carried out a search, as well as part of Waterloo Road.
