But he said the 68-year-old lag himself was happy enough with the portrayal that Hardy carried out after getting to know him over the phone and later face to face.
Bamby told LADbible: "He's seen the film, and he thought it was absolutely brilliant. He thought Tom Hardy did a good job and portrayed him well.
