Channel 4 viewers have shared heartache for the deceased guest on the Jeremy Kyle Show who took his life after appearing on the popular ITV show, which was taken off the air after 13 years.
On Sunday (March 13), viewers tuned in to the explosive documentary Jeremy Kyle Show: Death on Daytime which lifted the lid on alleged tactics used by the programme to heighten guests' distress for entertainment.
This included telling addicts that they were in competition with other participants for a single place in a rehabilitation centre despite having room for all guests on the show.
The show was axed back in May 2019 after Steve Dymond, 63, took his own life less than a week after he failed a lie detector test while filming an episode.This led to an inquest into his death which is set to take place later this month.
