Although it is no surprise to hear of Steve's latest presenting stint, his career didn't begin in TV. The 6ft tall Welsh presenter, who was born in Tylorstown, started out as a model.
He posed for American men's magazine Esquire and later designed and modelled clothing for Very's in-house brand 'Good Souls'. READ MORE: It was in 2002 that Steve landed his first hosting gigs for ITV Wales, co-presenting the Pop Factory Awards alongside fellow Welsh presenter, actress and model Liz Fuller.
The show featured Welsh bands as well as more mainstream pop acts at the time like Sophie Ellis-Bextor and S Club 7. Steve's first presenting role with Channel 4 came in 2003 on the weekend entertainment programme T4, where he mainly interviewed celebrity guests.
