At the time the pair denied the claims. Olly said on the ITV daytime show: "Me and Caroline have always said hundreds of times (in interviews) that we're never going to get together, We're just really good mates. "The singer was also reported to have had a brief relationship with TV presenter Melanie Sykes in 2017 who is 14 years his senior.

The pair were introduced through a mutual friend before reportedly bonding over Mel’s fitness programme. The star denied there was a romance between them during ITV’s Loose Women - but didn't rule it out.

When asked about their relationship, Olly admitted: "Mel's amazing. . . there might have been something. ” More recently and before his relationship with Amelia, Olly dated property manager Francesca Thomas for three years before the couple called it quits at the end of 2015.
