But Aberdeen - thanks to a goal from Celtic loanee Liam Scales and header from Bojan Miovski - beat them 2-0 to ensure that the Hoops are now 13 clear of their rivals with five games to play.
They meet at Hampden in Scottish Cup semi-final action next weekend but the following Saturday provides a chance for the league to be official wrapped up.
