There might not be much at stake for Rangers as they welcome Aberdeen to Ibrox for the first of five 'meaningless' post-split fixtures.
But when these two collide there is always plenty on the line. And the Michael Beale's men will have revenge on their minds after the 2-0 defeat to the Reds at Pittodrie just a couple of weeks ago.
That result helped Barry Robson land the Aberdeen job on a permanent basis but he knows the Light Blues are wounded from that loss and that will no doubt form part of his pre-match team talk.
And if three points won't make much difference to Rangers' season, the same can't be said for Aberdeen who are right in the thick of a battle to finish best of the rest - and the lucrative prize of European group stage football that goes with that third place Scottish Premiership spot.
