Aberdeen players fell foul of the club and the authorities when they visited a pub in breach of government guidelines after their opening day of the season clash with Rangers.
This was exacerbated when it emerged the Celtic full-back Boli Bolingoli had taken a two day jaunt to Spain without telling the club and thus failing to observe the two week quarantine expected from travellers to that country.
The players' conduct led to the postponement of matches involving the clubs with Aberdeen's game against St Johnstone, Celtic 's against St Mirren and a tie between the two being cancelled.
