A woman fell to the ground after being hit over the head in broad daylight outside a B&M store near Greater Manchester. Police have today (January 15) released a CCTV image of a man they wish to speak to following the 'cowardly attack' on a woman as she walked on a busy town centre street.
The incident unfolded at around 12.50pm on Thursday, December 14. Merseyside Police says it was reported that a man ran up behind a woman outside the B&M store on Church Street, St Helens.
He then hit her over the head with an object, causing her to fall, before the offender walked off. Police say the victim, aged in her 40s, was not injured from the assault but was left very shaken. Try MEN Premium now for FREE...
