Coronation Street star Keith Duffy 'splits' from wife after 25 years together
ok.co.ukBoyzone's Keith Duffy and his wife Lisa Smith are calling it quits after 25 years of marriage, a new source has claimed. The singer, 49, is said to have moved out of their £1.15million Dublin home just before Christmas, with The Mirror reporting that the couple have since stopped following each other on social media too.
The split has reportedly left Keith feeling heartbroken, as the source revealed: "It has come as a shock to everyone. Back in July, they appeared happier than ever while celebrating 25 years together on a trip of a lifetime to the French Riviera." Following the split, the couple are trying to keep things friendly for the sake of their children; son Jay, 27, and daughter Mia, 23.
Keith and Lisa first met at a Dublin nightclub in 1995 and were expecting son Jay just nine months into their relationship. Keith, who also starred as Ciaran McCarthy in Coronation Street, proposed to Lisa just two days before they tied the knot in Las Vegas in 1998.
In July, they shared loving posts about each other on their 25th anniversary. Speaking at the time Keith said: "Celebrating 25 years in Style.The French Riviera doesn't disappoint." He also thanked personal shopper Sinead Keary "for decking out Smithy in such Sexy attire".
