Seven men have been arrested after a woman was raped at a house in south Manchester. The property in Fairholme Road, Withington, was raided by police last Sunday and arrests made.
The Manchester Evening News understands police were alerted to the incident after a woman knocked on the door of a neighbouring property asking for help.
One local said: "Last Sunday a house was raided by the police on Fairholme Road. Multiple vans and cars took each man out of the house and put them individually into separate vehicles.
The police were originally out around 3am on Sunday morning. Then the police were back with all the cars and vans around 9am to clear out the house." In a statement GMP said: "On Sunday 14 January 2024, at around 2am, officers were called to a concern for welfare of a woman on Fairholme Road.
