Casemiro's arrival at Manchester United is a good bit of business, despite him being a "reaction" signing. That's the verdict of former United defender Mikael Silvestre who doesn't believe the Brazilian was the first name on the list of targets compiled by boss Erik ten Hag and the recruitment team at Old Trafford.
Casemiro arrived last month for a £60million rising to a possible £70m from Real Madrid but so far he has been restricted to cameo appearances off the bench in the last three games.

It’s a late one in the window and the price is also high," said the Frenchman. "So you have to adjust if you can’t get your number one or number two – I don’t know which number Casemiro was on the list – but for sure he was on the list.
