Carlos Santana collapsed onstage Tuesday during a performance in Clarkston, Michigan at the Pine Knob Music Theatre due to heat exhaustion and dehydration, his managerMichael Vrionis said.The 74-year-old guitar player was taken to the emergency department at McLaren Clarkston for observation and 'is doing well,' Vrionis told Dailymail.com in a statement.According toFox 2, Santana was about 40 minutes into his set playing his song Joy when he fell, and concert organizers subsequently said the show was canceled amid the medical event, and requested fans to pray for him.
