Two men have been arrested after a sprawling cannabis farm was found at a house in north Manchester. Police made the discovery after they were called to reports of an 'attempted burglary in progress' at the property on Oak Bank Avenue in Harpurhey at around 11:30pm on Monday night. "Upon arriving, officers quickly discovered that the property contained a number of cannabis plants, all close to full maturity" Greater Manchester Police (GMP) said.
The grow was spread across four floors with around 120 plants contained in six rooms. Two men, aged 29 and 32, were arrested on suspicion of cultivating cannabis and abstracting electricity and remain in custody for questioning.
