It’s not very often that the Saints go marching in to a clash with one of the Old Firm in as strong form as their opponents.
But with both Rangers and St Mirren having won three and drawn two of their last five Premiership games, there’s every reason the Paisley club’s supporters should be feeling more confident than ever heading into this weekend’s meeting.
Naturally, the Buddies head into the match as the underdogs. While their recent form on the pitch is very similar, financially Rangers are playing in a different league altogether.
