’s children are using the titles Prince Archie and , and the official Buckingham Palace website has now been updated to reflect the change.
Having previously been listed as “Master Archie Mountbatten-Windsor” and “Miss Lilibet Mountbatten-Windsor” on the website, their names now appear as “Prince Archie of Sussex” and “Princess Lilibet of Sussex,” falling at numbers six and seven in the order of succession.It comes amid over whether Prince Harry and Meghan will attend in May.
The official Royal Family website has been updated and Meghan referred to their 21-month-old daughter for the first time publicly as “Princess Lilibet” in a statement .
Although neither she nor her brother, Archie, age three, were granted the titles at birth as they were not grandchildren of the monarch, they gained the right when their grandfather, King Charles III, acceded to the throne in September.
