BTS rapper Suga has released a second formal apology following his DUI incident earlier this month, when he was booked by police for driving electric scooter while intoxicated.The K-pop idol was first booked by South Korean police earlier this month for violating the Road Traffic Act.
Following his charge, BTS’ label Big Hit Music and Suga both issued official statements and apologies to fans regarding the incident.
According to the statement from his company, Suga’s license was revoked and was fined. “Nobody was hurt, and no property damage occurred due to the incident, and he was taken home under police custody,” it read.On August 25, Suga issued a hand-written apology on the fan community platform Weverse, two days after he was questioned by police at Seoul’s Yongsan Police Station. “It is with feelings of shame that I apologise once again to you all.
