Bruno Fernandes admits the Sir Matt Busby Player of the Year award is a 'special trophy' but the Manchester United midfielder is more concerned with fulfilling on-pitch objectives.
A two-time winner of the award, Fernandes is among the favourites to win the voting again this season and become just the third player to do so three times, with Cristiano Ronaldo and David De Gea each earning the trophy on four occasions.
Top goalscorer Marcus Rashford is also in contention, with his 29 goals almost three times anyone else at the club. United still have four games left of the season, however, and Erik ten Hag's side have plenty left to achieve between now and June.
The Reds will likely need to win two of their final three Premier League games to secure a top-four finish before meeting Manchester City at Wembley for an FA Cup final on June 3.
