Immunity passports could enable thousands of Brits to be freed from social distancing rules under new Government proposals. Health Secretary Matt Hancock said antibody certificates are in development to allow people to begin a return to some form of normality.
The concept has also been floated as a way of allowing people who have had the disease and so are protected against reinfection to return to work.
At the daily press briefing on Thursday, Mr Hancock said certificates are being looked at for people who test positive for coronavirus antibodies.
