Britney Spears says she has 'no purpose anymore' amid strained relationship with sons

Britney Spears has said she no longer feels like she has a purpose after her sons Jayden, 15, and Sean, 16, "cut her off".The 40-year-old singer took to her Instagram page last night to share a clip with her fans about her strained relationship with her teenage boys.During the candid audio, she said she feels like a "a huge part" of her has gone since their bond fell apart.Britney shares Jayden and Sean with her ex-husband Kevin Ferderline, who she split from in 2007 after three years of marriage.According to US Weekly, the children's dad has had 70 per cent of custody since 2019.In a recent interview with the Daily Mail, Kevin claimed their sons no longer wanted to see her.Having her say in view of her 42 million followers, the Toxic hitmaker said she didn't understand how her sons could cut her off.Jeremy Clarkson makes savage swipe at Meghan in tribute to the QueenShe said: "I used to have my kids at one point, way more than Kevin, but people don't remember that part because they always focus on the negative."From when they were six to nine years old I had them 70 per cent of the time and of course since they've been gone, I've felt like a huge part of me has died."Like literally, I have no purpose anymore - they were my joy, they were my everything.That was what I lived for."Then all of a sudden, they were gone, and it's like my heart just stopped beating."Britney went on to say: "I don't understand how it's so easy for them to cut me off like that, I just don't understand it."Jayden and Sean broke their silence on their relationship with their mum in the same interview with their dad last month.In the chat, her youngest son said he hoped Britney gets "mentally better" and claimed "she should come to the realisation.
