Britney Spears‘ conservatorship has been extended. Following the news that Britney‘s attorney filed a request for her father Jamie Spears to be removed from the conservatorship and permanently replaced solely by temporary conservator Jodi Montgomery, a judge ruled that the conservatorship will be extended until at least February of 2021, Variety confirmed Friday (August 21). PHOTOS: Check out the latest pics of Britney Spears Britney’s attorney, Samuel Ingham, was authorized to file a petition no later than September 18 and have it set for hearing on October 14, and the temporary letters of conservatorship were extended until February 1, 2021.
