Residents have been urged to 'act now' in part of Tameside after a flood warning was issued as Storm Babet hits the North West.
The Environment Agency has issued the warning for the Staley and Micklehurst Brooks in Mossley. River levels are 'rising steadily' as heavy rain from the storm batters our region.
The areas 'most at risk' include Micklehurst Road and Audley Street in Micklehurst, the Environment Agency said. People here should 'act now' by moving vehicles to higher ground, moving family or pets to safety, moving important items upstairs and using flood barriers.
