BREAKING: Engineers working to rectify sewage blockage impacting watercourse in South Lanarkshire

Scottish Water engineers are currently working to remedy a sewage escape caused by a pipe blockage in East Kilbride.Technicians from the water authority are currently on-site urgently attempting to rectify the issue which has impacted Kittoch Water near to Philipshill Road in the town.A Scottish Water spokesperson said: “We are working as quickly and as safely as we can to rectify the issue.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
