Katie Reul editor Disney has released the first trailer for “Haunted Mansion,” a remake of the 2003 film infused with the eeriness of the classic ride at Disneyland. The supernatural comedy film stars LaKeith Stanfield, Rosario Dawson, Jamie Lee Curtis, Jared Leto, Winona Ryder, Owen Wilson, Danny DeVito, Dan Levy, Tiffany Haddish. Dawson takes the lead as Gabbie, a single mom who unknowingly moves into a ghost-ridden mansion in New Orleans with her 9-year-old son (Chase Dillon). In order to exorcise their new home, Gabbie calls upon a questionable paranormal expert (Stanfield), a psychic (Haddish), a priest (Wilson) and a historian (DeVito) for help.

Rebecca Rubin Film and Media Reporter Jack Kesy will portray Hellboy in “The Crooked Man,” a new movie about the demonic comic book character. It’s the latest reboot of the role, which has been previously immortalized on screen by Ron Perlman and David Harbour. Millennium Media is backing “The Crooked Man,” which will be directed by Brian Taylor from a script by “Hellboy” comic book creator Mike Mignola and Chris Golden. It will be the first film in the Millennium Media partnered development slate with German film and TV distributor Telepool, a division of Westbrook Inc. Here’s the logline for “The Crooked Man”: “Stranded in 1950s rural Appalachia, Hellboy and a rookie BPRD agent discover a small community haunted by witches, led by a local devil with a troubling connection to Hellboy’s past: the Crooked Man.”

Nintendo has announced a release date for Wave 4 of Mario Kart 8‘s downloadable content (DLC) courses, revealing eight tracks and a returning racer that’s coming to the game.In a trailer published today (March 2), Nintendo confirmed that Wave 4 of the Booster Course Pass will be released on March 9.The trailer also confirmed that the following eight courses will be featured in the DLC, including seven maps that are returning from other Mario Kart games and one entirely new map.In the below trailer, you can watch all eight of the maps in action:Additionally, the trailer also reveals that Birdo – a character from the Super Mario Bros. series and a mainstay in many of Mario’s sporting spin-offs – will make her Mario Kart 8 debut in Wave 4.Mario Kart 8‘s wave-based DLC launches were announced in February 2022, and have been slowly released since then.

Channel 4 drama Truelove due to ill health.The actor will be replaced by Lindsay Duncan in the role of Phil on the upcoming series, after filming was paused last year due to Walters suffering severe back pain.Speaking to Deadline, Truelove creators Charlie Covell and Iain Weatherby said they were “saddened” by the loss of Walters, but “with her blessing, Lindsay has joined and we are both huge admirers.”A statement from producers Clerkenwell Films reads: “Last year, filming on Truelove was paused while Julie Walters sought medical advice and attention for severe back pain.“Subsequently, Julie has decided to step back from the project to focus on her recovery and recuperation, and so will not be returning to the role of Phil. The show combines high tech wildlife filmmaking alongside state-of-the-art technology and insight from dinosaur and natural history experts with support from the photorealistic visual effects of MPC (“The Lion King”) applied to concept art created by Jellyfish Pictures (“The Book of Boba Fett”). The result is an immersive experience that transports the viewer back to the prehistoric age.

Patrick Frater Asia Bureau Chief HYBE Corp., the talent firm behind K-pop sensation BTS, has launched a campaign to woo the shareholders of SM Entertainment, the rival Korean talent empire in which it is poised become the largest single shareholder. In a letter and video package, issued Thursday, HYBE said that it was launching a campaign website detailing its business strategy and the ways in which it plans to prioritize SM shareholders. The documents directly criticized SM’s current management and also struck out at Korean entertainment-tech giant Kakao, with which SM has recently struck an alliance.
