Camila Alves is detailing a very scary flight experience. The 41-year-old Brazilian model and husband Matthew McConaughey were aboard the Lufthansa flight on Wednesday (March 1) that was forced to land in Virginia after it was hit by severe turbulence over Tennessee and dropped nearly “4,000 feet” in the air. Keep reading to find out more… “On Flight last night, I was told plane dropped almost 4000 feet, 7 people went to the hospital, Everything was flying everywhere,” Camila wrote on Instagram along with a video of the aftermath with food and items thrown all over the plane. “To respect the privacy of those around me that’s all I am showing but the plane was a CHAOS And the turbulence keep on coming,” Camila continued. “The @lufthansa flight you are seeing on the news today!!!!

Thank God everyone was safe and ok.” The flight was traveling from Austin, Texas to Frankfurt, Germany before it was hit with turbulence over Tennessee and forced to divert to Washington Dulles International Airport in Virginia where it landed safely.
