A mum temporarily pulled her son out of school because he was put into isolation because of his Easter break haircut, she claims.
Charlie Deyes, 14, had the bottom half of his head shaved while the top was trimmed on Sunday, shortly before the was due to return to school after the holidays.
But his mum, Sam Deyes, described how shocked she was when the school phoned her to state Charlie had been placed in isolation because the haircut "did not meet school uniform policy".
Following the incident, she took Charlie back to the hairdressers on Monday "in an attempt to satisfy the school". Despite her efforts, the school put Charlie back into isolation the following day, which led to Sam pulling her son out. "He had his haircut before he got back to school.
