Susanna Victoria Reid (born 10 December 1970) is an English television presenter and journalist. Reid was a co-presenter of BBC Breakfast from 2003 until 2014, along with Bill Turnbull and Charlie Stayt.
She has been a co-anchor of Good Morning Britain since 2014, and currently presents the programme alongside Piers Morgan and Ben Shephard.
She finished as a runner-up on the eleventh series of Strictly Come Dancing in 2013. She also presented Sunday Morning Live on BBC and Save Money: Good Food on ITV.
Boris Johnson asked who Lorraine Kelly was in his latest TV interview as viewers branded him out of touch and said it was the final nail in his coffin.
Scots TV veteran Lorraine has been hosting her own UK wide show since 2010 on ITV and been on our screens since 1983. However, despite her household status and much publicised life, Boris Johnson appeared bewildered at the mention of her name - which amused Lorraine no end.The Prime Minister was sitting down for his first interview with Good Morning Britain in five years with presenter Susanna Reid.After being grilled over lockdown parties, the cost of living crisis and Ukraine, Susanna tried to hand over to Lorraine Kelly, whose show is on after GMB.She said: "Lorraine is waiting to take up all the issues that you have brought up in this interview."Boris appeared flummoxed as he asked : ‘Who’s Lorraine?’Susanna laughed when he said it and said Lorraine was a ‘legend’ as Boris mumbled: "Oh fantastic, I can’t wait to talk to Lorraine."Lorraine who simply said at the time: "Oh wow," added: "I honestly thought Boris Johnston thought we were gong to dive in and interview him there.
No, we are doing alpacas instead. That's what we are doing."Viewers were unimpressed by Boris's ignorance re Lorraine with one saying: "“Who’s Lorraine?” #Boris failing the ultimate test of being in touch with the country on."Another said: "Boris Johnson ends excellent @susannareid100 interview by asking “who is Lorraine?” @reallorraine and there goes another 1.5 million votes."And someone else joked:"Classic comment from Boris. ‘Who’s Lorraine”."At the end of the show Lorraine addressed the PM's gaff and said: "I love how he said:"Who's Lorraine?" Why should he know who I am?
