A cleaner stole up to £20,000 worth of perfume and fragrances from her employer to buy heroin. Nikola Minova, who worked at a Boots store through an employment agency, took 237 bottles of fragrances values between £15,000 and £20,000, according to Stoke-on-Trent Live.
Managers identified the 34-year-old as the thief after reviewing CCTV footage, with police later discovering a carrier bag full of perfume hidden behind a bath panel after carrying out a search of the offender's home.
Minova was sentenced to 12 months in jail, suspended for two years, at Stoke-on-Trent Crown Court. Prosecutor Jonathan Barker said the defendant was working as a cleaner at Boots, Hanley, in August and September last year.Mr Barker said: "In September last year
